Heil Honey, I’m Home!

The insanity of this pretty much speaks for itself, so please …. enjoy this – the only aired episode of this British TV shit-com (using American actors) about Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, and their exploits dealing with their Jewish neighbors, the Goldensteins. ROLL TAPE!

love ALLways,

LARRY DAVID IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR.

One of my top favorite scenes from Curb Your Enthusiasm.  The backstory –> there is a wire that hangs over the backyard of their home.  A “friend” and lawyer who happens to come by says he can help out in getting it removed, but he sneakily says he’d like to meet Julia Louis Dreyfuss – and if Larry can set that up, he can help get rid of that wire.  This is Larry letting out his frustration with his wife.

I don’t know maybe it’s just me, but this makes me laugh out loud every time.

COCONUTS!

I went to see the Conan O’Brien tour here in Boston last night with my friends Matt and Rachael – and it was bloody fantastic indeed! It was a lovely homecoming and he seemed happier than ever to be back in his hometown doing what was basically a classic variety show. From the Meatloaf Bat out of Hell blow up bat, to the “Chuck Norris Rural Policeman Handle”, to Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, and Andy Richter and La Bamba, you couldn’t really ask for more – other than the countdown to November 8 moving a bit faster.   Below are some reviews and stories from the show’s road team.

O’Brien is an irresistible combination of smart and silly, self-deprecating and smirking. What’s not to love about a Harvard grad who calls himself Coco and uses the word “awesomesauce’’?” – Boston Globe

One day after my birthday, the wait is over … (and don’t get any weird ideas, I just thought this photo was really funny, mmmm k?)

The Office : An American Workplace

Or now simply called, like the original, ‘The Office’, debuts on NBC Thursday March 24 at 9.30 pm. I certainly cringed at the thought of their being an American version of this classic British TV show, as of all the remakes that would bomb (and have so far), this was the worst choice to try and recreate. Obviously the verdict is still out, but its getting very positive press, and I’ve seen a few clips online (link below), and it looks promising!
